Azerbaijan Robotics Engineering Academy (AREA) was established in 2016  perform  educational , manufacturing and  applied research in robotics technologies . 

 

PEOPLE

 

From educational institute to industrial engineering  we have several team members who bring diversity value into our team.

 Currently , AREA academy has  2 mentors, 25 Robotics coaches , and 5 board members.  In Azerbaijan AREA exist in five universities , and nine K-12 schools.

EDUCATION 

​

AREA offer broad educational program from age 4 to 25. In colleges we offer Fundamentals of robotics  , Robotics programming 101 , and  Embedded system courses. College students who successfully complete the AREA  Robotics programs , we transfer their knowledge into K-12 education system , to be robotics coach in after school programs.  Beside the education course in college and K-12 schools AREA organize the international and local robotics competitions. Starting from 2017 AREA become official partner with World Robot Olympiads (WRO )  to organize this event in Azerbaijan. Also , AREA develop the own robotics curriculum for different age groups call Hands on Engineering and Leadership Program  (HELP )

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT 

 

AREA targeted to improve Research and Development (R&D) activities in  Health and Science , Oil and Gas , Renewable Energy , Industrial Defense  , Educational , and Industrial Robotics area.  AREA is supporting to young scientists , inventors , idea makers  and engineers  to  expand their   ideas  into reality.

ROBOTS 

​

So far we have only one manufacturing model called “JapAz”jointly manufactured with Japanese technology and Azerbaijan innovative  solutions. JapAz is a educational Robotics kit help students to demonstrate hands on engineering and robotics practices. We are planning  to extend our   manufacturing products in advance level in a near future.
